Having a shared vision and understanding key when implanting a new idea or approach. You need to ensure there is a willingness for growth. Education is a constant learning process for students as educators. We need to ensure we are providing the best for the children of the future. I have lots of ideas and visions for the future for myself and my school my next step is to isolate a these visions into a clear path that can see me become an innovator in the teaching profession.

ReplyDeleteThe word that jumps out at me is "implanting." Maria from Auburn High School really reinforced the notion that planning for your school change is all about understanding your school context and finding strategies that suit the needs of your school. If leaders have a deep understanding of their school, then they are likely to have this shared vision and work towards a common goal. It's then important to get the whole community on the same page committing to what you need to do to maximise success across the school.
